Maria Alice Silva-Amey has been writing poetry for most of her life. Born and raised in a multicultural community in Brazil, she values family and community above all else. After moving to the United States to study English, Maria Alice worked while completing her education. She earned a Master of Science in Counseling and has also written two other books: Body and Life Short Story and Times Short Stories.
Known for her hard work and dedication to education, Maria Alice is admired for her kindness and her ability to help others recognize their potential. She encourages those around her to pursue their dreams and understand their visions.
Maria Alice holds an AA in Literature and Language from City College Sacramento, a B.S. in International Business, and a Master of Science in Counseling from California State University, Sacramento.
