The Pompey Poetry Party is hosting a special Christmas-themed open mic night at The Hideaway Southsea on Thursday, December 5th, from 7:30 to 10:00 PM. The event, led by Poppy Joy Singing and compere Cecily Holland, will feature festive sing-along classics to get everyone in the holiday spirit.
This open mic night invites poets, singers, musicians, and comedians to take the stage. While the theme is Christmas, performers are welcome to interpret it in any way they choose.
Attendees are encouraged to wear their favorite Christmas jumper, grab a hot chocolate, and enjoy an evening filled with Portsmouth’s creative talent.
Open mic slots will be available on a first-come, first-served basis, with performance times typically lasting 5-10 minutes, though this may vary depending on the number of performers.
The event is free to attend, but donations will be collected for The Greyhound Trust to help spread some holiday cheer to our four-legged friends. Your generosity will be greatly appreciated.
