The Think Forum series will feature renowned poet Billy Collins on Tuesday, December 3, from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Maltz Performing Arts Center.
Collins, one of America’s most celebrated poets, has garnered both critical acclaim and widespread popularity. His poetry has been published in prestigious magazines such as The New Yorker, The Paris Review, and The American Scholar. Over his career, Collins has published 12 poetry collections and earned numerous accolades, including the Mark Twain Award for Humor in Poetry. He served as the U.S. Poet Laureate from 2001 to 2003 and as the New York State Poet Laureate from 2004 to 2006. His latest collection, Water, Water: Poems, was released earlier this month.
