BuckSlam, the Twin Cities’ only monthly poetry slam, returns this December for its final slams of the season. Whether you’re a poet, a poetry fan, or even a poetry skeptic (judges welcome!), BuckSlam offers a space to enjoy stories and performances from talented local poets.
Join us on Wednesday, December 11, at Moon Palace Books, located at 3032 Minnehaha Ave. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., and the show begins at 7:00 p.m.
The event has a $1 cover charge, with the winner receiving a $25 gift card to Moon Palace and prizes for runners-up.
Poet sign-ups will open at 9:00 a.m. on the day of the event and close at 6:55 p.m..
Please note that Moon Palace Books requires masks indoors, so be sure to follow this safety guideline. The venue is wheelchair and walker accessible, with multiple accessible restrooms. The stage has steps, but the microphone can be adjusted for those who need it.
