The Museum of Contemporary Art Arlington (MoCA Arlington) is excited to welcome poet Dan Brady as the next featured guest in the Vessels and Passages poetry series. Brady is the author of several poetry collections, including Strange Children, Subtexts, and Songs in E——, which won the prestigious Barclay Prize for Poetry. He has also published two poetry chapbooks.

Brady’s extensive career includes serving as the editor of American Poets, the journal of the Academy of American Poets, and working in the Literature Division at the National Endowment for the Arts. His contributions to the Big Read program, the largest community reading initiative in U.S. history, earned him a Distinguished Service Award. Currently, Brady serves as the editor of Barrelhouse, continuing his work to support and promote poetry.

He lives in Arlington, Virginia, with his wife and two children.
