North Ayrshire’s Tidelines Book Festival will bring back the popular Scrievin & Scran event later this month. The evening, which combines poetry and prose with a hot pie, aims to lift spirits during the January chill.

Scrievin & Scran 2025 will take place at Irvine’s Harbour Arts Centre on January 24 at 7:30 p.m. The event will be hosted by local actor and director of Poetic Justice Productions, Steven Duffy. It will feature performances from local writers, with open spots for anyone who wants to take the mic.

Guests can expect an evening filled with warmth, humor, and insight, along with a few surprises.

Tickets include a hot pie from Duncan’s Bistro. When booking, attendees should choose from meat, veggie, or other options.
